From Naples, Florida, Anthony Brandy is a Doctoral Student in Hispanic Linguistics. At Florida Atlantic University, he double majored in Linguistics and Spanish, with a certificate in TESOL. He later transferred to Florida State University where he completed an M.S. in Foreign and Second Language Education and a graduate TESOL certificate, after which he taught at Tallahassee Community College. His primary research interests include identity, first and second language variation, interlocutor differences, and how these topics intersect with endangered language fieldwork.
